Freelance: The Pursuit of Self-Employment

On a winter’s morning in June 2017 I came to the conclusion and made a decision…

My departure from Full-time employment was largely inspired by my long desired goal to start my own merchant business and to pursue my freelance work at a larger capacity.

“My unique take on Digital Freelance is largely inspired by the fact that most Freelancer’s are linear in their services”

Providing one or two things and that’s it. I go above and beyond to make sure they get the best services possible and provide more than most. Additionally If my clients are to need a service I do not provide in the digital area, I have highly recommended partners with over 10 years of experience with what they do best.

Website Digital Specialists Auckland
The place where it all started

With my years of experience in the digital industry I have learnt a lot of skills and I offer all of those to my clients. It’s very important to me personally and professionally that I don’t just provide a “service” I’m a friend to my clients and I am more than happy to give professional advice & help in anyway I can.

My self-employed role as a Digital Freelance Specialist @ We Do Things consists largely of the following:

  • Front-end web development
  • Web design
  • Digital advice
  • E-commerce advice
  • Website management
  • Video editing & effects (outsourced to a business partner)
  • Graphic/print design (outsourced to a business partner)
  • Audio specialist & voice over (outsourced to a business partner)
